Simple AllSky Pi enclosure to cover a Pi 4 with a PoE hat, M12 HQ camera, and a 3.5" SSD.
Use this 90mm dome with side holes so that accessing the lens and focusing was easy. Pictures show 100mm dome, renders show 90mm dome.
I used this Waveshare 184.6° lens.
Put a small 12v 3010 blower fan (power from GPIO or USB) to direct heat into the dome to prevent dew. I use this Gdstime 12v dual ball I had on hand, running it at 5v keeps it quiet and extends the life of it.
And need to get a USB 3 to Sata adaptor and a 3.5" SSD, a decent SD card will work as long as you are offloading the files regularly.
For the seals I used TPU, just had to glue it in a bit more. Or you can purchase nitrile rubber which is a bit more flexible.
I got these to pass the ethernet cable though, but would recomend looking for something better. It's already falling apart.
I just used some super glue to attach the stars.
