Design Philosophy
The trophy features a modern, simple, and almost minimalist design. The two parts are in contrast with each other, based on different materials, different surface textures, and different 3D printing technologies. At first glance, it is clear that this is a trophy for the 3D Printing Industry Awards 2024.
The main part (SLS) has a naturally smooth surface and is printed in the highest quality. Embedded in the main part is the heart, the core in the form of the 3D Printing Industry Awards logo (Metal Binder Jetting). Its surface is rougher and reveals the printing technology used as well as the rawness of the material. The number 2024 refers to the year of the competition.
