clean pod Philips S8000

Got a Philips series 8000 wet and dry shaver. The bundle didnt include the quick clean pod. The original is just a bowl with lid and otherwise empty, no function at all for the money they ask for. The cartridges with their secret cleaning and lubricating fluid doesnt come cheap either. Its probably completely useless in regards of cleaning, anyway, but I liked the idea of disinfection, though.

This pod does exactly what the bought pods do, supports the S8000 (S91) heads pretty well.

Fits any container/bowl with at least 82mm diameter and 40mm height.

My "secret" cleaning fluid is 70% Isopropanol 30% dest. water and a shot of brilliant blue (E133). Works well for me…

The briliant blue (E133) is available in small bottles from Dr. Oetker (cake and baking dept. in supermarkets) which contains only the blue and preservatives. Prefer this one over gels and others which already contain sugar and other crap…
