This 3D-printed stand is specially designed for charging iPhones with a MagSafe charger. The stand has a custom-fit recess into which the MagSafe charger is securely clamped. This holds the charger firmly in place and makes it easy to dock the iPhone in portrait and panorama orientation.
The charger cable can be concealed through the stand for a tidy appearance.
There is a recess under the stand that allows washers to be glued in as additional weight. This ensures a more secure stand and prevents tipping over.
If you don't like the stripe design use the clean version.
Print the stand lying on it's side, with support on the printbed.
General layer hight on 0,2mm is sufficient. Adjust layer hight in areas of radii and overhangs for a good fit good optics.
Dry fit the stripe before glueing it in place and adjust scale if necessary.
Print time for stand ca. 3h, for stripe ca. 6min.
Make sure you use glue that doesn't change the color of your filament ;-)
