TiltBox for DPS5005
Simple and functional enclosure for the DPS5005 variable power supply, designed to make it easier to use and look good on your workspace.
Features
- Angled Display: The DPS5005 module is tilted for better visibility and usability.
- Input and Output:
- Barrel jack port for power input.
- Banana plugs on the front for clean output connections.
- Power Switch: A rocker switch on the back for easy control.
I used stuff I had laying around, so I do not have specific part numbers to recommend. I've included the project files so you can remix this to fit your own needs. Here is my dimensions at least if you want to quickly check with your own components.
The design was inspired by Scott Yu-Jan's viral iPhone stand, itself based on Dieter Rams’ iconic alarm clock. It’s simple, clean, and functional.
I've included two versions:
- Original Version: Matches the photos and works well as-is.
- Updated Version: A cleaner, slightly improved design for the back that I haven’t had the chance to reprint yet.

Printing
I printed mine in PETG to better handle potential heat. Still need to see how this performs. Printed standing on it's side to minimize overhang distance. Managed to print this pretty ok without using supports on my MK2.5S.
