This is a jig for Bosch 1617EVS fixed base plate to cut a grove in 2 “inch” side of 2x4 or 2x3, and by “2” “inches” I mean 38.5-ish mm.
The max acceptable “2” “inch” side is 39mm. I gave the jig tolerance of 0.5mm which is a lot for a 3d printed object but may not be enough for dimensional lumber. For what samples that I have this tolerance works for the most pieces.
If you have lumber that's close to 39mm thick (or thicker), prepare it with a planer. Thick, unprepared lumber will cause jig to get stuck and if you apply more force, this will cause sudden jerk of the router which would shatter the router bit. Ask how I know.
