This styrbar mount uses the original mounting plate and improves the look and stability of the mounted styrbar remote. The pushing of the buttons is not disturbed in any way, as there is some extra spacing. The mount is designed based on the 3D models provided by ikea, which I shared as a convenience here: https://www.printables.com/model/1099850-ikea-styrbar-3d-model-original-from-ikea-itself
I made a little notch to suppress the negative impact of the heightening of the seam (it would really interfere with the remote, I tried…)
There are some notches to hold the original mounting plate in place. Inside the mount are excavations in order to provide enough elasticity for the notches.
Just print the mount with 3 walls and 15% infill and no support. Make sure the seam is placed near the cutout and not within the edges.
After the print is finished, press the original styrbar mounting plate inside and you are set. If you plan to remove and insert the mounting plate multiple times, it is advisable to print with PETG as the notches wear out quite fast when using PLA.
