a holder for a commonly available 6"x2"x3/4" sharpening stone (the real dimensions of the stone slightly under size) , it holds the pictured stone snuggly but it is easy to pull out to clean or reverse. if you are using a different brand you may need to change the scale. the tab at one end has a 6.5mm hole for securing the holder to a bench or work surface. there is a small trench on each side to collect oil and grit to help keep the work area cleaner.
