This is a design to replace the friction/pinch wheels on Houston Instrument DMP pen plotters.

This friction/pinch wheel replaces the original wheels that are now so old that they shatter when engaged to hold the paper against the roller. It has been designed using OpenSCAD and printed in TPU on a Anycubic Chiron printer. The tolerances are tight, so you may need to use trial and error to get a good fit from your own printer. You should be able to just change the “inner_diameter” variable to get a snug fit.
The design has ridges inside the wheel to line up with the shaft and stop the wheel sliding off the shaft during operation.
