The Boeing Super Guppy is a unique cargo aircraft designed to transport oversized components that are difficult to fit in conventional aircraft. Originally developed by Aero Spacelines in the 1960s, it is based on a heavily modified Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter. The Super Guppy features a distinctive bulbous fuselage that allows for immense internal capacity. It was primarily used by NASA and other aerospace organizations to transport large parts, such as rocket sections or spacecraft components. Despite its unusual appearance, the Super Guppy played a critical role in enabling ambitious space and aviation projects.
