During the 2024 FRC season, I needed a gear reducer for the NEO motors. All of the commercial options were either too expensive or out of stock so I developed my own planetary actuator.
- 4:1 planetary gearbox
- Neo motor bolt mount pattern
- Uses a 12.7mm output shaft with a 10.7mm hole in the center
- M2.5 screws are threaded into the two holes on the carrier to secure the output shaft
- A 12.7mm flanged hex bearing is installed inside the cover
- HEAVILY grease all interfaces and gears with a gel lubricant
- NOT PRINT IN PLACE, Split the model into parts when slicing then print :)
