With this adapter you can mount your Andonstar Digital Microscope to a regular microphone boom arm, which allows you to move it much more freely.
I've used this with my AD246S-M, however I would assume other models also fit, given they have a diameter of ~45mm.
For mounting you can just use an M3 bolt and nut to clamp it down securely and for a tidier solution you can also embed an M3 heat set insert instead of the nut.
To get the lights out of the base, first desolder the wires from the PCB with the DC jack on it, then use some pliers and twist the lights out of the base. The lights are threaded, but very hard to get out of the base.
You can mount the lights, so they face down directly (like I have in the pictures) or so they face up, which may be helpful if you have a lens that requires the microscope to be closer to the desk.
I printed mine in black PLA+ with 20% infill which feels solid.
