We installed this on our tile shower using 3M Command Bath Strips (they're water resistant vs. “normal” strips).
The hook should slide in nice and snug with basically no wiggle to it. The 45 degree angles mean no supports are required.
The hook should fit a bunch of different squeegees, bath balls, whatever. Ours is an older Oxo brand squeegee. That said, I have included a hook with a flat top for easier remixing.
