The FLSUN SR is a pretty good printer, but the wires going to the effector can be unpleasant to look at, and if you modify the printer, can cause some pretty serious (printer breaking) problems. In my case: Since I've changed out a large portion of the effector components, I found that my hotend fan wire could catch on one of the arms and disconnect itself after homing, which would obviously be a serious problem if I hadn't caught it immediately every time it did it. I found another model serving the same purpose, but it didn't quite work for my custom setup, and was released under a very restrictive license, so I decided to just make my own using hexagons.
The STLs included should work with a stock SR, but the end caps may be longer than is necessary if you've still got the factory wire-tape on both ends.
I've tested printing both STLs in both PLA and PETG a couple times now, and as long as you have pretty good bed adhesion and you use supports, you shouldn't have any trouble with it, though the ziptie “cuts” can be kind of iffy if you're printing quickly. I used 0.20mm layer height, inside-outside wall printing, and organic tree supports, though standard supports should work fine as well.
You may have to “separate” the parts in your slicer in order to ensure everything is sitting on the bed.
The SCAD file doesn't do any checking for validity, so its possible to put in values that will break the model, make sure you've actually generated something that can be printed before you try to print it if you're customizing it.
I've just realized I didn't add a cutout for the probe connection (I use a different probe and its wires are significantly shorter/don't even enter the protector), so I'll add that and make a V1.1 in the near future.
