To allow for a faster setup and wrap up, it is tempting to leave the pier head attached to the mount, and leave the pier attached to the tripod.
But that leaves the three thumbscrews potentially loose and exposed. The TopPack_V2 (white) part fit there to protect them.
If a more compact arrangement is desired, the BottomPack is mounted in place of the accessory/locking tray. The piers, fitted with the TopPack_V2 piece is held against the bottom of the tripod head. Then the tripod is folded and the bottom pack go up, holding the pier in place. The three clips keeps the tripod legs together.
TopPack.stl is the part I use, but I had to manually carve some fillets to get it to fit to the tripod head. I added these fillets to the TopPack_V2.STL, but I did not print it, as my last prototype was good enough for me. (and was already my third attempt!) I am pretty sure it will works, but if you print it please confirm! (or not ;) )
I printed it in ASA, with support for the first 10mm of TopPack, and support for the central interleaving part of BottomPack. I used tree supports.
