In a new house I've been moving some light switches, and one dimmer is without a knob on the slider. A classic application for 3D printing. Rather than design a new one, I found @kg333's fine model and started there.
I'm a fan of chamfered edges, and I like to simplify meshes for easy future alterations in designs. So I eliminated many nodes and dissolved the planes to start with. I also created an inset back to reduce material, add flex going onto the post and avoid possible scraping while sliding.
All good - works fine on my old Lutron dimmer slider. Putting it into service.
