The Design
I have been searching for an inexpensive, visually discreet, reliable way to suspend a few cables at a time (without adhesives) and couldn't find quite what I was after. Enter the mini J-hook.

Material
The pictured model was printed with Black PETG from Overture. I expect PLA would be more brittle than desired for this design.
Printing
Print on either side, part is symmetric. Full walls, at least on the gate mechanism.
Additional Parts
I recommend mounting with a #6 flat head screw (pictured), which countersink nicely.
