The curvature of the track is a 24" radius - much sharper than the official 96" radius - but this way it'll fit on a Prusa XL, or any 200mm printer in two pieces.
This ramp is intended for home testing of pinewood derby cars - it matches the official track profile and angle (briefly) and transfers the car smoothly onto a flat floor. It does not accelerate the car anywhere near as quick as the full-size track, of course, but it gives an idea of how your graphite lube and polished axles are helping.
I used double-stick tape on mine for consistent results, but my son prefers to move it into the vicinity of our pets for, um, advanced testing. No animals were harmed, the speed is quite low, but it really helped sell the detail-oriented portion of derby car preparation.
The single ramp fits one car, the double… two cars. There's no launch mechanism, though, I simply put the rear wheels over the edge and push ‘em up til the car rolls down - it’s repeatable enough for testing, but not really for racing.
For printing, I used PLA - if your printer has good cooling you can get away with no supports.
Designed in Fusion - I dropped the source so feel free to modify!
