Overview
Add-on unit to the modular heroscape case. Slide a soda can into this mug to transport your drink, dice, and cards to the tournament at the same time!
Mechanism
This mug has two modes of operation:
- transit mode: cover the mug with the standard lid by sinking the can into the mug a small amount
- gaming mode: there's a slider tab at the bottom of the mug to prop up the soda can to facilitate easier drinking. The slider tab can be activated at the bottom of the handle.
Print Tips
There's two objects to print: mug and slider. They fit together to create the mechanism described above. I was able to print both on my Prusa Core One without supports. It took a bit longer than 7hrs in stealth mode.
I added a small gap in the joints between objects to ensure they smoothly fit together without wiggle. This gap can be customized to meet your printer tolerances by changing the user parameters in the included fusion 360 source file.
The logo on the bottom requires some long bridges, but its always turned out fine for me. I figure its on the bottom of the piece and won't get much attention anyway.
