Toybox Alpha One Extruder Housing
This is part most technically complicated model I have designed so far. (But it's easy to put in) Let's go through why. About five years ago, I received a Toybox 3d printer for the holidays. I loved every second of it, and basically used it nonstop. Before I discovered Printables, I used to find models on Thingiverse and upload them to Toybox. I was so enthralled by this machine, that I made it my mission to learn all I could about it. I turned to articles online and basically read the entirety of All3dp that year. Very quickly, I found myself trying to print things that just did not work on the Toybox. The next year I asked for an Anycubic C, thinking that sheer size would fix my problems. It did for a while, but eventually broke completely while printing a large sword. However, not before I searched the internet for upgrades for my Toybox. There was nothing. I told myself then that if I ever got a new printer, I would help to bring those with a Toybox "up from the ashes". After learning CAD by myself, I started off and took apart the printer. This is Upgrade One, and will not be the last.
This simple part prints without support. Updated version has no text on the front. Print in PETG.
Assembly
Take what I believe is a 5/64 Allen Key and loosen the two side screws of the extruder. The left hand side should go through a fan duct.

(Right hand side screw in center of frame)
Make sure there is no filament loaded, then pull the extruder cover forward and off the extruder. Leave the fans screwed in.
Push new cover on and tighten screws.
That's it!

This was not enough for me. I soon after took apart my Toybox, reducing it to parts. Conversion kit prototype V1.0 has just been completed a few minutes ago.
