For my Festool RTS 400 REQ which is for 130x 80mm² sanding paper, I bought a delta sanding pad, assuming that it would fit. I was wrong. The RTS 400REQ en DTS 400 REQ have a different base.
I made an interface for the machine to mount the delta sanding pad. You need 4 m4 screws with countersunk head to mount the interface on the machine.
Known issues:
- The threads in the interface are m4/0,7mm, but are too tight. I haven't fixed that. Tap the holes (preferable with a machine tap).
- I haven't used it much yet, but I am a bit concerned abouth the strength and stifness of the material. I used PLA, but I think there are better filaments to use (maybe with glass fibre).
