I needed a strong connection to the bottom of my desk, but keeping a relatively small footprint. Modifying an original link to add a screw flange was the most straight forward solution, and works great. This design cuts the link and joined to a top plate, as well as rotated the connecting nubs for printability.
I also found the original link design to be slightly small for the number of wires that I needed to pass, so after some experimentation I landed on scaling up 125% to be a good balance of size and material costs.
I printed all parts with 3D-Fuel Midnight Black PLA-Pro with enough walls and top/bottom surfaces to make the part solid, and it seems to be plenty strong and works really well.
screw-mount.stl is scaled for a 125% link. (link-125-scale.stl is the 125% scaled link is included as well).

Fusion 360 file included to enable further customization if needed.
