PiTTY (Pie-tee-tee-why) is rackmount console server made from cheap parts. It leverages Raspberry Pi to run ConsolePi and a cheap 8 channel RS232 USB adaptor.

Additional Parts needed:

  • 10x M2.5 Heat Set Inserts
  • 4x M3 Heat set inserts
  • 4x M3 Countersunk screws
  • 8x M3 12mmScrews and Nuts (to attach rack ears)
  • 6x M2.5x5mm Countersunk Screws
  • 4x M2.5 screws (can be longer than 5mm, or use the 5mm ones)
  • 1x small zip tie
  • Short ethernet cable with one end using a keystone
  • Raspberry Pi 4
  • 30mm fan and connecting screws
