This is a remix of the original "Stanalone drybox" to support the "Vincent Groenhui's parametric auto-rewind" device.

This remix adds an autorewind spoolholder INSIDE the standalone Drybox. You can then throw away the buffer that comes with the Prusa MMu module.
I wanted the original “standalone Drybox with humidity sensor" to support a parametric auto-rewind device. So i modified the original “standalone drybox” to fit the “Vincent Groenuis auto-rewind” device inside the box. Vincent’s device can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3781815/files
With this remix, you can get rid of the bulky mmu buffer AND your filament will stay dry!
You have 2 options to use this remix:
- You can upgrade your already printed “standalone drybox” by printing and gluing the new shaft support to the box. You will also need to print the new 100mm shaft since the original shaft is too short.
- Or you can reprint the bottom part of the “standalone drybox” using the included .3mf file of this remix. This remix has the shaft support integrated into the drybox, no need to print the shaft support if you reprint the drybox's bottom part. However, you'll need to print the new 100mm shaft.
Here are the modifications that i made to the original drybox
- Added a 100mm custom shaft to support the auto-rewind and fit into the drybox
- Designed two shaft supports for the 100mm shaft
- Modified the bottom part of the drybox to include the shaft support, no need for glue if you reprint the bottom drybox
- Modified the dessicant tray to thicken the walls by +0,6mm. The original ones were way too thin.

You will need to print his auto-rewind system, minus the shaft. You have to use the custom 100mm shaft of this remix to fit into the drybox.
