Piantor Custom Case

Introduction

This is a 3D-printable case for the Piantor keyboard from Beekeeb: https://shop.beekeeb.com/product/piantor-keyboard-kit/

Compared to the original case from Beekeeb, it has (among others) three main differences:

  • It is held together by M3 screws and corresponding heat inserts.

  • You do not need to remove the PCN from the case in order to swap switches.

  • The keyboard fits into the case with rubber feet glued to the PCB (In case you want to use the keyboard without the case from time to time)

Even though I have only tested the case with the WeAct RP2040 version, it should also be compatible with the Raspi Pico variant.

Printing Instructions

The parts are quite easy to print. Just use a layer height of 0.2mm. No supports are needed if you orient the correctly on the print bed (top needs to be flipped).

Top and bottom need to be printed once as provided and once mirrored. Just use the mirror function of your slicer (or the file I included).

I by the way used EIBOS Filament Silk Series (PLA) in Ti-Chromatic Gold-Blue-Fuchsia.

I also designed a transport box which can be used together with the case:

Make it your own

I included the STEP file. Feel free to modify the stand as you please.

If you have questions, remarks, suggestions, I would be happy to hear from you.
