The channel clips are designed to be used with Hands on Katie's Underware channels. The original channel base design works well but it was a lot of extra printing (channel base + the connector insert) compared to using this model.
The channels make a satisfying clicking noise when locking into the channel clips. When running multiple channels parallel to one another you may have to slide the second channel into place as it is a tight fit.
There are multiple versions of the channel clips:
- Removable - insert the removal tool, turn 90 degrees and pull out the channel clip.
- Non-removable - uses a little less filament but i would recommend going with the removable clip.
- Screw mount - useful when you don't have another way to fasten the multiboard to a surface. The screw mount channel clip is slightly taller on the backside to sit flush with the multiboard which prevents it from being pulled past the front of the multiboard when fastening into place.
