A miniature version of common design in the style of SGM P5 or Ignition Co9.
The 4x12 panel with WS2812 LEDs is controlled by an ESP32. I use WLED as a for simple way of controlling the individual LEDS. All components are directly powered from the USB in, which is conveniently sized to fir almost every type C plug.
The top rotates by almost 360° for getting the right lighting angle.
You will need:
- ESP32
- WS2812 panel 4x12 or 3x(4x4)
- 12x screw M2x8mm
- 2x screw M4x20mm
Threads are printed, so you don't have to fumble around with heat inserts (there's no space for them anyway).
Print with PETG, because ESP might get toasty despite of venting.
Runs great on powerbank for mobile use :) (for my model ~0.6A @ 5V)
