My 5-year-old grandson loves time in the shed, learning about stuff. Josh found it difficult to separate the stick of disc magnets he was playing with (under strict supervision) He said it was hard, so I suggested we build a tool to help with getting them apart. He helped design the tool in CAD and pretty much watched the printer the whole time it was printing. We put it together and it worked a treat. Great time together learning and doing.
This may not be much use to anyone, but I put it here to show that there is always an opening for learning STEM and new stuff with kids.
