What?
A lightweight but quite sturdy spool holder that can accommodate regular to up to 120 mm spools. I originally used bearing (6802 cuz I had some leftovers), but I noticed it slides more than it turns, so I propose a modified version without the need for the bearings, it should be OK too.
How?
Printing
Use whatever nozzle size, only support required for the rolls to be printed vertically.
Assembly
I use self taping screws to connect the bars to the frame using the holes in the parts, but glue should work fine.
To connect the two holder parts in the middle, use 2xM3 screws with nuts.
Why?
I have regular and large (Prusament 2kg) spools and had hard time finding a tabletop spool holder that can work well with all.
Here were my requirements:
- Easy to make,
- Has parts that fit my Prusa Mini bed size,
- One size fits all, no moving part to adjust to different spool sizes,
- Use my 6802 bearing I had lying around.
