I needed a bracket for an AC remote, for convenience. I don't know anyone who would sell an exactly matching one as an independent part at a fair cost, so of course I engineered my own.
It is a relatively simple one, designed to be sturdy and loose-fitting so that a remote can be placed inside it easily, and that small printing inaccuracies will not cause issues.
The model is parametric, so you can adjust the dimensions of the remote as modeled; with further code changes, tolerances and other properties (e.g. centre hole/gap, length of holding wall) can also be changed. You will need Belfry OpenSCAD library for the SCAD file.
Printing instructions
Print with any relatively sturdy material; PLA should work, but PETG would probably not be a bad idea either (PLA was chosen due to having an abundant supply of it without use). You may want to change seam location to a place where they aren't too visible.
The specimen as shown in the picture was printed with Prusa PLA, 0.3mm layer height.
