Okay so I made a minimalist hammer wall mount a while ago and I stand by that design, it still has not failed even in a 90f+ garage and a 10lb sledgehammer hanging on it. But…. I did run into two issues
- The design would not keep my hammer handle hanging straight if it was used to hang a non symmetrical hammer head. Mildly annoying.
- My wife and friends using my garage would never hang my hammers back where they found them because they were afraid of the “flimsy scrap of plastic” breaking.
So here we are! Sturdier, beefier, straighter! It solved problem 1, but I have since realized nothing can solve problem 2.
Fusion file included, requires two parameters, hammer head width and handle thickness, notes are included in the file.
BTW the little notches cut into each support arm are in case you have a taper shank style hammer, like most molded dead blows and steel shank construction hammers.
