A very fast and easy to print on FDM machines scuba diving spool. I've designed more ergonomic spools but need to be printed on resin, so decided to make this one for my FDM machine.
It easily holds 25 metres of cave line, probably will even hold 30 but I prefer to keep the holes uncovered.
The side holes have been offset, so it is easy to leave the perfect length of line to attach the double ender.
Slightly rounded edges enough to don't damage dry gloves but still print them without supports.
I always drill two holes on my spools to secure the start of the line, this time I decided to model the holes directly on the design. Just feed the line towards the central hole, then again to the outside and make a knot enough to trap the line.
I used 100% infill without supports. Will use about 85 grams of material.
