As I watched the Mini+ assembly video, I winced when Josef tried to stuff the ribbon cable into the aluminum extrusion. I thought two things: 1. It's not a very good engineering solution and 2. it would be better to let the ribbon lie flat and not bend it in the middle. This clip satisfies both concerns and can be printed in PLA (preferably black). It does not require supports. The design has an allowance of 2mm for the thickness of the ribbon.
Update v2
I have taken delivery of the Mini+ and found that the original clip is too long. It was 120mm but the proper length is 85mm. I have attached a new file. Please disregard the previous file.
If Prusa likes this idea, it would probably make more sense for them to use a vinyl extrusion and cut it to length rather than printing it. But as a retrofit, this should work well.
