This design was created to provide a simple way to pack coffee grounds for brewing. I've included two methods to move the arbor, a lever and a wheel. Both methods are included.
The press frame will need to print with supports. On the frame arm I increased the infill to 25% for added strength and used the cubic infill pattern. I Printed it in PLA.
The gear was printed with PLA at 100% infill.
The rack was printed with PLA at 100% infill. I printed it with the rack teeth on the build plate with good results.
The shaft was printed with PLA plus at 100% infill. For the hand wheel, I created a modifier to to have the shaft print at 100% infill while the wheel was at 15%. It was also printed with PLA plus.
Both parts of the lever were printed with PLA plus at 100% infill.
The nest was printed at 15% infill with PLA.
The press plate was printed with PLA at 25% infill with support material for the center hole.
One M4 x 20 SHCS is required for assembly.
Added an extended shaft hand wheel for additional clearance if required.
