This device was originally designed for a child so they could visually see threading while developing fine motor skills. The sharps are all removed except the points that make contact with the build plate. I would suggest smoothing those, so pay attention to orientation and don't forget this step, as sometime those surfaces can be sharp.
Although this was designed for a child's development I often find myself messing with it so I thought I would share it. I left the primary conical surfaces smooth so the community can add texture to them. I hope to see the makes with various applications. Enjoy!
