Print Details:
Printer: Bambulab X1 Carbon
Material: PLA
Nozzle size: 0.4 mm
Layer height: 0.08 mm (High Quality) for optimal thread resolution.
Scale screws to 98% for improved thread tolerance (fit is snug but smooth). If the hole for the needle gets to small you can scale up the base/body instead.
Assembly Notes:
For the pin pusher, cut an embroidery needle and mount it at the tool’s tip. I cut both ends of my needle. The hole for the needle is 20 mm deep, my needle does not reach the bottom, but the tight fit holds it securely in place.
Ensure threads are clean post-print, you may need to run the screws in and out once to loosen them slightly.
