I like the XIAO ESP32, I really do. It's  tiny and seems to be one of the more reliable at connecting to Wi-Fi networks. That fondness for the device suddenly dies when you need to press either of the onboard buttons. They are tiny! But pressing these buttons is a necessity if you manage to brick the device with bad code, which I do regularly.

This lid just sits on top of the ESP32 and positions two pins perfectly to press the buttons. It's a snug fit to ensure you hit the buttons cleanly. It will even work if you have soldered pins to the device or mounted it on another PCB (assuming you mounted it buttons up, of course.) Holding the “B” button while you click the “R” button puts the device into boot mode to allow you to upload new code.

I printed mine in clear PLA so I could still see the LED's, setting the slicer to 0.1mm resolution to try to get the detail as fine as possible.
