This Furitek Slidetech ESC has a cutout on the bottom for airflow and cooling…which is really helpful….except for when looking to double-sided tape mount it to the car.
I created this simple mount that allows the ESC to sit off the bottom and have an air gap - but yet give a full mounting surface to the chassis.
Step 1: Put small strips of double-sided tape around the edges of the inside mount area. I actually wrapped mine up the wall to help hold the side of the ESC.
Step 2: Smush the ESC in.
Step 3: Mount the capacitor using double-sided tape
Step 4: Mount the whole assembly to the car.
