My Midea dehumidifier was occupying a corner of my living room that I wanted to use for a plant. Hence I made a top shelf that fits onto the upper lip without restricting the airflow and allows a top plate to be inserted for placing other items, e.g., plants, on top.
Just 12 M3 socket head 15-20mm screws are needed for screwing everything tightly together. I am using the threads introduced by Thomas Sanladerer and aligned the prints already in a way that these threads are printed in the optimal orientation.
I went with a wooden PLA top plate (which unfortunately had some layer adhesion issues) and white PETG for the main body of the attachment, which is plenty strong with three walls.
