These are beads that are meant to label which pull chain is which on those ceiling fan lights. The links on my chains were a little bit larger than 3mm (~1/8inch) you may need to scale the models if you have a different size.
I have two versions, the 3d set which are pictured, and a flat set that might be a little more ergonomic. The flat versions have the symbols recessed, so you can do a filament swap for a two toned effect.
