I wanted an easy to print dock that printed as a single piece (ok it's actually 2 pieces) with no supports and built in nozzle blocker.
You will need:
- 2 - 6x3 Magnets - Highly recommend countersunk magnets
- 2 - M3x10(ish) FHCS for leveling
- 2 - M3x6 BHCS
- 2 - M3x5x4 Heat Set Inserts
- 2 - M5x10 BHCS
- 2 - M5 Roll in Nuts for 2020.
- 1 - Completed Spring Steel nozzle blocker
- 1 2x4mm Self Tapping Screw
- 1 piece of spring steel (I used a metal zip tie cut down)
- Some High Temp RTV Silicon to fill the cup.
Print flat using standard Voron settings (4 perimeters, 40% infill). I used ABS, PETG may also work but keep in mind you'll have a hot nozzle close by.
The docks should not pinch the tool but there should also not be a lot of movement in the dock.
Adjust the back leveling screws using the “paper trick” to make contact with the back feet of the StealthChanger dock. Rock the tool to make sure that there is good contact and that the tool does not have too much play in the dock.
