These chip guards are a extra protection for your stepcraft CNC so wood or metal chips will not enter the Gantry.

Although the Stepcraft CNC Routers have decent protection of the gantry rail by the rubber flaps, I had the issue of chips entering.
These chip guards cover the part were the rubber separates when the gantry moves.
Print the part straight up and use a 3 to 5 mm brim to add some extra stability during printing. and no supports are required.
The guards can be easily fixed with some double sided tape.
