Marathon NuCaloric 198

This is a re-creation of NuCaloric 198 from the Marathon game being developed by Bungie.

I specifically designed this particular model to perfectly fit a Klean Kanteen thermos that I have. Unfortunately I received this bottle as a gift and I'm not entirely sure of the exact model that I have. But here is all the information I do have on it:

• The front says “Klean Kanteen Insulated”
• The bottom says:
  • 18/8 Food-Grade Stainless Steel
  • Vacuum Insulated
  • 12oz 355ML

The lettering on the front will need to be added yourself. The way I did it was by placing some black tape onto the side, tracing out the design on paper, and then carefully cutting along the paper design into the tape until only the design remained.

I designed this model so printing supports is not required for any piece of the model. To that end, there is a bottom cap for this model that screws into the bottom of the shell. You drop the cap through the top of the shell, and then you carefully rotate the cap until it screws in tightly. I recommend screwing and unscrewing it a couple times to make it easier to screw in the future. A secondary benefit to this screw in design is that if you are having trouble drinking from the thermos or taking it out, you can unscrew the bottom cap a little bit to make the thermos rise from the shell.
