I wanted a place to put my pool skimmer and cleaning tools that was out of the way, so I made this model. It fits on a 1" x 1" fence and works pretty good. I suggest printing it out of a UV resistant filament, I used PETG.
This model has been outside since August of 2024 and doesn't show any signs of deteriorating. I plan on making some more prints to hang off of my fence like a solar light, shelf, and rain gauge. Stay tuned for those.
I ran some simple simulations on this part to decide best to add a strong back and how to reinforce it. It is plenty of strong and the stress has been pretty well distributed from my original model. Let me know what you guys think and enjoy! Thanks!
