This is a modular filament changer designed for flexibility, expandability, and ease of use. The system allows for automatic switching between multiple filament spools, making it perfect for multi-material printing or managing multiple colors in long prints.

🧩 Fully modular design – built with standard 2020 aluminum profiles and DIN rails, the system can be scaled up or down to fit your needs.
🛠 3D printable parts – most of the components are easily printable with standard materials like PLA or PETG.
🔁 DIN rail spool holders – the project uses the DIN Rail Spool Holder for neat and adjustable spool mounting.
🤖 Electronics based on Arduino – the whole system is powered by an Arduino Mega 2560 with a RAMPS 1.4 shield and TMC2209 stepper drivers, giving you reliable control over stepper motors.
📐 Custom dimensions – thanks to its modularity, you can change the frame size and number of spools freely.
🧰 STEP file included – the complete model is provided in .STEP format, so you can easily modify it to suit your own setup.
🧠 Powered by 3MS firmware – this project uses the excellent 3MS project as the core firmware to control the switching logic, ensuring reliable and tested operation.
