I looked around for fence extensions to keep my cats from escaping over the fence. all of them were going to cost over $800, and I'm cheap. I learned how to use fusion and made some brackets and rods to hold up netting to extend the fence.
does it work? so far so good. it's foiled 2 escape attempts already.
Printed in PETG because it's more flexible and UV resistant than PLA. 3 walls, 20% cubic infill.
the joint for the rod is very tight, once you get it together it probably isn't coming apart.
the bracket and rod fit together with friction.
there's 45 degree brackets for the corners.
there's also a hole for a zip tie at the end of the rod.
cost about $40 worth of PETG to print enough for the whole fence.
Please don't blame me if your print fails and your cat escapes!
