A simple bongo drum.
If hit correctly, it makes a nice resonating boom sound.
Recommendations and info:
I printed it in PETG, 0% Infill.
I printed it a 100% scale, membrane on the print bed. On a whim, I cut it off at 130mm in the slicer, but that was probably unneccessary.
It is designed for 0.2mm layer height - the “membrane” is supposed to be 2 layers thick!
You can probably scale it up very well - just dont forget to cut away the bottom layers in the slicer then afterwards, so the membrane is again just 2 layers thick!
Regarding design:
I chose octagram spiral for the membrane.
I forgot to do fuzzy outer skin (0.15 / 0.15), that almost always looks nice.
