DHT22 - Screwable Case/Housing

This case is for the commercially available presoldered DHT22 sensors. You can find such sensors on AZDelivery. Sometimes they aren’t cut correctly (if you see a grooved white line on the edges); in that case they won’t fit. You can simply snap off the excess (that’s the purpose of the white line).

The model is designed for the following assembly:

• print both parts once per sensor
• insert a threaded insert in Part A
• screw or glue Part A where you need it
• insert the sensor at a slight angle and screw it down
• push on Part B

You can also use hot glue to secure the sensor if you don’t want to use threaded inserts or modify the hole, so that a standard screw holds tight without a threaded insert.
