This is a replica of the original case for Lensbaby Composer Pro optics. It is compatible with the original case. The top and bottom can be screwed onto the original case.
Provided are the Bottom, Top, and combined versions.
[Update Aug 12, 2026] Due to feedback, I've made a version that has a flat bottom for the Bottom section. This will improve ease of printing. Flat Combined.stl and Flat Bottom.stl. The Top should work for both versions.
Print in PLA. I used black PLA for the Bottom and clear PLA for the Top. 0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle.
When printing the Top part, print it upside down (flat side down). No supports needed.
When printing the Bottom part, supports only needed on the base plate (for the underside that's concave). Avoid using supports for the 3 “screw threads” as that would alter their thickness. Finished by sanding the inside and outside of the concave sections.
