CMF Phone 2 Pro - Camera Grip Accessory

This model is working but not completely finished!

The latest version includes the following features:

• Hidden screw access via hinged lid & below view cutouts.
• Compatibility for CMF Lanyard.
• Compatibility for storing CMF Lens accessories.
• Uses additional M2.5 screw for a hinge and snapfit latch so you can open and close the top compartment without needing a tool.
• Space for adding an 1/4" threaded insert, (common camera accessory mount).
• Throughhole for attaching toy charms, or wrist straps.
• Cutouts for charging port, speakers, and sim tray.

Assembly:

• This design comes with 2 necessary parts, and 1 optional (Lens Holder)
  • There is no need to print the "Grip" modifier included in the .3mf
• The Body and Lid are assembled with a M2.5 screw (Length min 10mm, max 20mm)
  • Lid will snapfit onto the end to securely stay closed.
• Case screw and knob screw are reused at the same locations. Knob screw should slide in then rotated in place with your thumb. Might be tricky to do.

Important Note: I am unable to test these currently but has been designed with reference to the Universal case model supplied by CMF. Hopefully I can get my hands on a phone to properly test these on… ey? Judges? 

Notes:

Version 0 - After printing the original model and testing it on my own phone (Huawei P30), I noticed alot of problems to be solved; such as incorrect screw access points, Uncomfortable index finger placement, etc.

Future updates?

• Ideally I would update this model to reflect on the real life fit and finish on the phone in question.  Maybe my hole positions are not totally correct. There might be some interference etc.
• I am also thinking of changing the snap close lid to be magnetically attached since it seems rather thin at the end. Same for the lens holder, having it stick together give me more peace of mind.
• A nicer aesthetic? I don't have a fashionable bone in my body so maybe this model is actually really ugly to others. I could have leaned more into the vintage camera look with the leather texture, strap mount rings, etc.
